We Could Not Be, Without The Likes Of Our Brave LVAD Heroes...

1984-2011

Yesterday morning I received word that Brandon’s long hard journey has come to an end. He is at rest… at peace now after a hard fought struggle. To me his brave fight against steep health complications brought the LVAD community even closer. His wife, Kari kept us all informed with Brandon’s good fight. Her unconditional love and support of her husband and children spread across the (Facebook-)LVAD community on a daily basis. God Bless Brandon’s family, my good thoughts and prayers for his family are constantly raised throughout day.

The LVAD community’s own HEART deeply feels his loss.

  2. My wonderful husband :) I miss him each and every day. At the same time though, I realize that without the "trials and tribulations" that are experienced with the LVAD, it would not be possible to advance in technology and help those that need the help he needed. My hope is that he taught the doctors and nurses something. AND that further study of his LVAD might help better understand someone elses position should they ever be in the same one he was in... OR save a life :) Thank you for posting this! VERY much... All my love and support sent to you and yours...

  4. Josh... I couldn't be more grateful to have met you.. You are such an inspiration to me. You were one of the people that helped me through the rough spots with Brandons care the most.. I don't know what I would have done without you and the rest of the LVADers.. I feel blessed to have friends like you.. and if I have helped you in ANY way at all.. Then I have accomplished a great feat.. I think you make the world a better place :) And I mean that from the bottom of my heart :) xoxoxo
